Candidates should possess 5-8 years of experience as a Product Designer, thriving in fast-paced, complex problem spaces, and demonstrating deep product thinking and a strong sense of ownership. They must have a thorough understanding of the crypto trading landscape, including familiarity with major crypto exchanges, DeFi protocols, and on-chain activity, along with awareness of regulatory considerations affecting crypto trading. Candidates should also demonstrate domain knowledge through firsthand experience trading or investing in digital assets and the ability to articulate investment theses behind tokens they hold, beyond surface-level narratives.
The Product Designer will own the end-to-end design process for derivatives and event contract products, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and quantitative analysts to translate market needs into intuitive and effective trading interfaces. They will dismantle complex financial product challenges, reconstructing them into experiences that are intuitive and almost invisible, challenging existing design paradigms with insightful questions and conducting user research with active traders to refine product experiences. Furthermore, the designer will iterate quickly on feedback and data insights to drive continuous improvements in the trading platform and navigate the intricate landscape between traditional finance and emerging crypto platforms.
