Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 3 years of product design experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating design expertise and measurable impact. Expertise in Figma, including libraries, variables, modes, auto-layout, and prototyping is essential. A deep understanding of web and native mobile interactivity, UI/UX fundamentals like information architecture, hierarchy, and layout is required. The ability to influence product strategy and drive business impact through design, exceptional attention to detail, and the capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively are also necessary. A deep knowledge of and interest in music, digital media, social media, and technology is important, with experience in digital advertising and knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals being a plus.

Responsibilities

The Product Designer will understand the needs of the community, viewership, and artists to design user interfaces and experiences that delight all groups, empower contributors, and enable artists to reach their fans. They will support design projects throughout the entire product development lifecycle, collaborating closely with the Lead Product Designer, Product Manager, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ship features. The role involves utilizing and expanding upon the existing design system, delivering clean and well-documented design files for engineering handoff, and thoughtfully integrating ads into the product to balance revenue generation with user experience.
