Responsibilities
Provide assistance to Members in the produce department, answering questions, recommending products and safe handling tips, and helping find products
Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery, ensuring it meets or exceeds company standards
Rotate produce on the sales floor for optimal freshness and variety, fully stock cases and display areas, keep displays neat and clean, and remove unsuitable products
Maintain the produce reserve stock area, dating and rotating back stock items, and keeping the storage area organized and condensed daily
Follow guidelines for disposing of damaged, spoiled, or expired products
Assist Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed
Clean and sanitize all produce equipment, display fixtures, areas, produce cooler, and refrigerated display cases
Generate signage for produce goods
Sort, display, remove, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department
Maintain the overall environment of the department through product knowledge and customer service, ensuring all produce meets quality standards
