Responsibilities
Provides assistance to Members in the produce department, answers questions, recommends products and safe handling tips, and assists with finding products
Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery, ensuring it meets or exceeds company standards
Rotates produce on the sales floor for optimal freshness and variety, fully stocks cases and display areas, keeps displays neat and clean, and removes unsuitable products
Maintains the produce reserve stock area, dates and rotates back stock, and keeps storage organized and condensed daily
Follows guidelines for disposing of damaged, spoiled, and/or expired products
Assists Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed
Cleans and sanitizes all produce equipment, display fixtures, areas, produce cooler, and refrigerated display cases
Generates signage for produce goods
Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables
Maintains overall environment of the department through product knowledge and customer service, ensuring produce meets quality standards
Works as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand Opening Look, stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, and clean/organized areas
