Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage raw material categories (e.g. polyols and acids) by developing strategic sourcing methodologies (SSM), managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings, innovation, and supply security across global operations
  • Serve as Regional Procurement Lead for the Global Elastomer Platform, aligning with business units to support regional and global sourcing initiatives, market intelligence, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Act as key interface between global category management and regional stakeholders, ensuring procurement strategies are aligned with regional business needs and supply chain objectives
  • Lead and develop two Category Leads in Krakow driving performance, capability development, and career growth
  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for assigned raw materials, leveraging TCO (total cost of ownership) models, supplier segmentation, and market analytics
  • Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements, ensuring compliance, performance tracking, and continuous improvement across quality, service, and cost dimensions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Legal to support innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance in sourcing activities
  • Monitor and report on market trends, risks, and opportunities within raw materials and elastomer supply markets, proactively adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage
