Requirements

Experience in managing global procurement initiatives, including cross-cultural communication, Request for Proposal (RFP), and strategy
Experience in cross-regional people management
Extensive experience in contract negotiation and management of complex supply agreements
Hands-on experience in managing procurement operations, including vendor management (Quarterly Business Review), contract administration, and performance evaluation
Value-Based Negotiation: Ability to identify and leverage value drivers to secure favorable terms and conditions
Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, quality, finance) and external suppliers to align expectations and achieve mutual benefits
Conflict Resolution: Skills in resolving conflicts and disagreements to maintain positive supplier relationships
Process Improvement: Focus on improving existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks

Responsibilities

Global Lead of the Facility category with in-depth technical knowledge, stakeholder and supplier management for Indirect Procurement
Proactively structure and lead cost reduction projects globally, leveraging regional team members
Design and propose supplier development strategies, negotiations, and contracting
Make and execute decisions to ensure quality products and services on time according to Vantive's business needs
Collaborate with internal partners to lead category strategies, pipeline items, and short/medium/long-term goals to support product pipeline delivery
Lead regional teams on strategy development and deployment
Lead supplier selection, harmonization, consolidation efforts, risk assessment, and contract negotiation for key projects
Ensure appropriate Supplier Relationship Management programs for strategic and critical suppliers
Provide regular progress updates to Senior Leadership and key internal partners
Lead negotiations across critical supply agreements using strong value-based techniques
Monitor, track, and report on savings and incremental value of sourcing activities
Stimulate and support innovation by using the supplier base, reviewing market developments, and mobilizing internal networks
Be an inspiring leader on key marketplace solutions, ensuring visibility on current trends in cost management
