Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholder groups in Gilead’s German Affiliate, and provide limited sourcing support to stakeholders in Austria and Switzerland, overseeing high-value projects
  • Support the development and implementation of global and local Procurement strategies for Europe
  • Liaise with Global Procurement Category Managers to develop global category strategies incorporating local Affiliate requirements and drive local adoption and adherence
  • Optimize spend with local suppliers not managed globally, implementing sourcing strategies in collaboration with Affiliate stakeholders for additional value and efficiency
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to supported stakeholders and markets
  • Annually identify a pipeline of opportunities to optimize supplier spend and engage early with Affiliate teams to review planned spend and align priorities
  • Partner with Global Category Managers to develop global strategies and ensure stakeholder adherence
