Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) providing technical support, onboarding, and developing lifecycle plans for Cloud and microservice applications and Web services throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a financial services environment
  • Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) providing technical support, onboarding, and developing lifecycle plans for Cloud and microservice applications and Web services throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a financial services environment
  • Demonstrated Expertise coordinating projects with a focus on Microservices architecture, monitoring logs, and performing end-to-end testing, using REST APIs, SQL databases, Snowflake, and AWS
  • Demonstrated Expertise creating comprehensive flowcharts and diagrams to clarify processes using Microsoft Visio and Draw.io; and sending release communications and coordinating stakeholders for validations during installs using Postman, Datadog, vendor dashboards, Snowflake, and SQL
  • Demonstrated Expertise implementing Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) process (adhering to data security standards) for bulk analysis file transfers using AWS S3 buckets, MFT Axway, SFTP, and SSH encryption

Responsibilities

  • Designs enterprise business processes, workflows, and user interfaces
  • Develops data analysis concepts and associated tools such as SQL
  • Creates stories and epics for squad deliverables
  • Engages with multiple business units to adopt ID Proofing technology and helps drive processes, workflows, and engineering efforts for customer-facing account opens, maintenance, and transactional user-interfaces
  • Utilizes structured, disciplined, and data-oriented processes to identify root cause and solve problems across tools
  • Provides analysis leadership on complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization
  • Consults with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities
  • Conducts interviews with business users to gather requirements and analyzes technology needs and system and workflow challenges

  • Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems analysis projects and defines project scope
  • Leads the execution of documents on large and complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents created by other analysts
  • Designs new systems based on requirements

  • Communicates progress of multiple projects to management, engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Serves as industry subject matter expert and identifies other subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for large and complex projects
  • Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices for systems analysis processes
  • Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the production support organization
  • Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies
  • Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on systems analysis techniques and business workflows
