Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Proficient in techniques for formulating business contracting solutions, including collecting customer requirements and assessing solution alternatives based on tradeoffs in cost, performance, reliability, and security
  • Practical skills and experience with applications and technologies (e.g., ROME, eSign, SalesOne, DocViewer, Salesforce, Product’s Service Guide Library)
  • Thorough knowledge of the AT&T product set
  • Ability to analyze customer’s business contracts, amendments, rate letters, and network challenges
  • Proficient in exercising technical/contracting solutions leadership, including accepting responsibility for customer solution success, coordinating resources not directly under control, and leading complex negotiations with customers and third-party consultants
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying architectural thinking to mission, strategy, and vision innovatively
  • Maintain baseline of industry knowledge to advise on technical trends and techniques
  • Good written skills to document solutions in proposals
  • Strong verbal skills to present solutions at working and executive levels
  • Strong customer interface skills and technical credibility in a sales environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, act with greater autonomy, and provide leadership to sales opportunities, including liaising with ICB, Product, and Legal partners

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to recommend the most appropriate contracting solution for the customer
  • Design comprehensive custom contract solutions that integrate smoothly into the customer’s current contract environment
  • Provide support necessary to ensure overall customer solution success
  • Lead complex negotiations with the customer and customer’s third-party consultant on behalf of Sales
  • Engage in complex projects and contract opportunities requiring cross-organizational/business partner/multiple customer or multi-vendor coordination
  • Participate in customer-facing, pricing, and contracting activities
  • Document solutions in proposals to customers
  • Present solutions to customers at working and executive levels
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide leadership to sales opportunities
  • Liaise with appropriate ICB, Product, and Legal partners
  • Lead solution engagements to promote new services, achieve buy-in from enterprise management, and create new opportunities and business relationships
