Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience developing and maintaining world-scale infrastructure and distributed systems
- Fluency in Java, C++, Python, or Go
- Expertise in Kubernetes
- Expertise in multi-tenant systems (reliability, performance, isolation, and security)
- Expertise in roadmap document creation, project plans, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- Track record of technical execution and leadership
- Passion for mentoring and guiding senior and staff engineers
- Fostering best practices in coding, testing, and automation
- Strategic mindset and strong sense of prioritization for maximum impact
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of our developer infrastructure and tooling
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, elastic, and large-scale systems
- Author roadmap documents, project plans, and RCAs
- Mentor and guide senior and staff engineers
- Foster best practices in coding, testing, and automation
- Maintain operational excellence and hold yourself and others to a high operational standard
