Requirements

Ability to act as a mentor for junior engineers, providing guidance on design proposals and conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with customer success and product teams to understand the "why" behind products
Evaluate new tools and frameworks for the engineering team, considering reliability, scalability, cost, ease of adoption, and recruiting implications
Advocate for forward-thinking architecture and solutions that reduce duplication, increase efficiency, and establish scalable patterns across the engineering team
Contribute code, write technical architecture documents, and review merge requests
Develop and refine technical and team fit assessments to aid in the hiring process
Mentor other engineers, helping them grow in their careers, in partnership with engineering managers
