Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience leading teams in complex projects, preferably in classified national security environments
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills, with demonstrated success leading specialized teams
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial analysis, including managing a P&L line of business
  • Master’s degree
  • Established network within DoD and Intelligence Communities
  • Experience in business development, sales, or customer engagement
  • Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all facets of the Nooks site, ensuring seamless integration across construction, security, and operations
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker and site representative, managing engagements with the General Contractor, subcontractors, and landlord
  • Manage construction projects, collaborating with security personnel to implement and optimize construction security measures
  • Develop strategic goals in collaboration with Nook's leadership and peer site leads
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performing, accountable culture aligned with mission-critical objectives
  • Ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICD 705, and DoDM 5205.07 Volume 2 security regulations, leading security audits, risk assessments, and emergency response planning
  • Take full ownership of P&L, working with the CFO to drive revenue growth and optimize costs
  • Use EVM/EVPM principles to budget, procure, and allocate resources to maximize efficiency
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies and defense industry partners
  • Represent Nooks at industry events and government meetings to advocate for CIaaS adoption and market expansion
  • Manage the company’s relationships with local/relevant communities and conduct outreach as appropriate
  • Stay on the cutting edge of emerging technology and processes
