Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study. Advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred
  • 10+ years of work experience in related field
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
  • Experience with micro segmentation frameworks and tools, providing granular control over east-west traffic and enabling zero-trust security models
  • Familiarity with network security policies and their integration with SDN solutions, including stateful firewalls, traffic filtering, and segmentation
  • Strong background in virtualization technologies such as virtual switches, network functions virtualization (NFV), and network overlays
  • Expertise in multi-cloud networking challenges, including traffic visibility, policy enforcement

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap for SDN and network virtualization features, with a strong focus on micro segmentation, VXLAN, and Private VLAN (PVLAN) technologies
  • Build and scale virtualized network infrastructure including virtual switches, routers, gateways, and service chains
  • Define requirements for dynamic, intent-based networking policies and secure workload isolation
  • Collaborate with engineering on architecture decisions and integration into cloud and on-prem platforms
  • Working closely with engineering, implement VXLAN for network virtualization, enabling large-scale, multi-tenant environments with Layer 2 network extension across Layer 3 infrastructures
  • Engage with customers to understand networking pain points and gather feedback on roadmap priorities
  • Partner with GTM teams to develop messaging, enablement, and pricing models for SDN offerings
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure our product remains a leader in secure networking
