Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong focus on visual design. Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining design systems is essential, as is a deep understanding of user experience principles and best practices. Experience with mobile app design and a portfolio showcasing impactful visual design work are required.
The Principal Product Designer, Visual will be responsible for owning and evolving Life360’s visual design system, aligning it with the app’s re-design and expansion, and supporting multiple teams across the company. This includes leading design innovation, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring design excellence across all member experiences. They will also contribute to training and recruiting top design talent, and aligning design with business objectives.
