Candidates should possess 10+ years of UX or product design experience, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in mobile-first product design. A strong portfolio showcasing mobile experiences that drive engagement and improve health, wellness, or fintech outcomes is required. Proven success designing and delivering consumer-grade mobile applications at scale, along with experience working within design systems and utilizing platform-native capabilities is necessary. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional stakeholders, are also needed.
As Principal, Mobile Experience Design, the individual will drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of best-in-class mobile experiences across Humana’s member-facing applications. They will use design thinking and human-centered design to create accessible, intuitive, and emotionally engaging mobile experiences, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and other design leaders. The role involves mentoring designers, fostering a culture of design quality, equity, and innovation, and leveraging analytics, research, and usability insights to continuously improve the mobile experience. Additionally, the role requires shaping the future of Humana’s mobile app ecosystem and ensuring mobile experiences meet the needs of diverse users, aligning with accessibility and equity principles.
