Requirements

  • Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 8+ years of post-graduate experience in both clinical practice and fast-paced business environments
  • Extensive experience completing quality chart reviews and audits for healthcare organizations
  • Track record of training others on clinical documentation standards
  • Thought leader passionate about reimagining behavioral health quality
  • Experience across traditional healthcare organizations, public health systems, and/or healthcare startups
  • Strong performance management skills
  • Experience supervising clinicians or large provider teams
  • Strategic first-principles thinker who can decompose complex problems into clear strategies and actionable plans

Responsibilities

  • Lead Headway's clinical quality strategy, developing protocols and processes that uphold safety, efficiency, and effectiveness standards for the practice
  • Build and scale our Professional Practice Evaluation programs, directly improving clinical outcomes across our provider network
  • Conduct routine chart reviews and monitoring, providing feedback to clinicians and creating remediation plans for documentation concerns
  • Collaborate with Product teams to ensure our EHR meets industry clinical standards and develop automated quality monitoring systems
  • Supervise clinical teams and peer reviewers, building clinical oversight capabilities as we scale
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and create scalable feedback systems for providers
