Requirements

  • Superior knowledge of planning schemes and relevant legislations within QLD
  • A solid network of relationships with clients in urban development or other sectors and demonstrated skills in leveraging these relationships to maximise business opportunities
  • Tertiary qualifications in town planning
  • High level of commercial acumen, financial management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A commitment to providing high level quality service to clients

Responsibilities

  • Converting clients to advocacy status, including developing strategic relationships with potential clients and improving and maintaining existing client relationships
  • Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth
  • Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement
  • Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff
  • Manage financial targets including budgets, profitability etc
