Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, specifically within a high-growth SaaS environment. Demonstrated expertise in AWS, including core services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation is essential. Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK is required, alongside experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes. A solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and scaling Kandji’s AWS-based infrastructure to support the company’s rapid growth, designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available solutions. You will develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK, ensuring repeatability and consistency, and leading the development of automated deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes. Furthermore, you will implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, and collaborate closely with engineering, security, and product teams to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
