Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
EIT/PE preferred
10+ years of experience in a similar position supporting Utilities, preferably in GMP operations
Knowledge of utilities equipment and systems

Responsibilities

Provide utilities engineering support to the Global Facility Delivery team and the Site Engineering team, with a strong focus on safe, right first-time delivery and on-time facility start-up, through application of engineering fundamentals
Partner with the site engineering team to provide additional capacity for tasks including operational readiness, C&Q support, on-floor process support, document reviews, deviation investigation, change controls
Coach and develop local technical team capabilities to support acceleration of operational excellence and technical skills
Utilize root cause analysis techniques to investigate system and equipment issues and deliver robust and sustainable corrective and preventative actions
Monitor, assess, and document equipment performance to maintain ongoing qualification of assets
Maintain the basis of safety for facility and utilities equipment and systems
Assist in long-term asset management deliverables including maintenance plans, troubleshooting guides, condition monitoring equipment application/installation, and ongoing monitoring plans for these types of equipment and systems
Provide technical leadership within the site Engineering team to lead aspects of scope development, design, delivery, and optimization of dry product network, new product commercialization, capacity expansion, and ongoing operations
Identify and ensure requirements for new products and processes are established with a focus on automated process assembly
Provide leadership for manufacturing platform consistency and continuous improvement and serve as the responsible engineer defined in local quality practices
