Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
  • EIT/PE preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar position supporting Utilities, preferably in GMP operations
  • Knowledge of utilities equipment and systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide utilities engineering support to the Global Facility Delivery team and the Site Engineering team, with a strong focus on safe, right first-time delivery and on-time facility start-up, through application of engineering fundamentals
  • Partner with the site engineering team to provide additional capacity for tasks including operational readiness, C&Q support, on-floor process support, document reviews, deviation investigation, change controls
  • Coach and develop local technical team capabilities to support acceleration of operational excellence and technical skills
  • Utilize root cause analysis techniques to investigate system and equipment issues and deliver robust and sustainable corrective and preventative actions
  • Monitor, assess, and document equipment performance to maintain ongoing qualification of assets
  • Maintain the basis of safety for facility and utilities equipment and systems
  • Assist in long-term asset management deliverables including maintenance plans, troubleshooting guides, condition monitoring equipment application/installation, and ongoing monitoring plans for these types of equipment and systems
  • Provide technical leadership within the site Engineering team to lead aspects of scope development, design, delivery, and optimization of dry product network, new product commercialization, capacity expansion, and ongoing operations
  • Identify and ensure requirements for new products and processes are established with a focus on automated process assembly
  • Provide leadership for manufacturing platform consistency and continuous improvement and serve as the responsible engineer defined in local quality practices
