Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the greater Bay Area, California within 30 days of acceptance, and possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience conducting energy efficiency policy work, or equivalent experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable, along with exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to produce deliverables in a timely and quality manner.
The Principal, Energy Efficiency Policy will oversee policy strategy for the CalMTA program, monitor and track policy developments through legislative and state regulatory proceedings, disseminate policy information internally, build relationships with key agency personnel and stakeholder groups, execute research on policy decisions, assist in message development and presentation materials, represent Resource Innovations and CalMTA in policy forums, develop and support regulatory filings with the CPUC, and actively participate in program leadership meetings, while also performing other duties as assigned.
