Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, be licensed to practice medicine in California, and hold board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. They should have at least three years of post-residency work experience, and be comfortable practicing the full spectrum of comprehensive care, including pediatrics and mental health.

Responsibilities

As a Primary Care Physician, the individual will manage a dedicated panel of patients, providing comprehensive clinical care encompassing preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management through text and video-based consultations. They will educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans, manage patient follow-ups for chronic care programs, prescribe and refill medication as needed, drive high-quality care with a focus on patient outcomes, and elevate remote care through compassionate patient encounters. The role also involves collaborating with clinical team members to develop clinical guidelines and policies.
