Candidates must be US Physicians fully licensed to practice in the United States with several active state licenses, and IMLC is a plus. Board certification in Family Medicine is required, along with at least 5 years of clinical practice experience, ideally with primary care and pediatrics. Prior chat-based telemedicine experience is a plus, and digital savviness, excellent typing skills, excellent grammatical construction, and excellent command of English are essential. Spanish fluency is an added benefit.
Physicians will provide urgent and primary care to adult and pediatric patients via live text-based chat, including managing acute cases, straightforward chronic care, and prescription refills. Responsibilities include accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment recommendations, writing efficient encounter notes with clear medical decision-making, and closing notes by the end of the shift. Physicians will partner with AI/ML in the EHR for clinical decision support, provide feedback to AI/ML and product teams, and stay current with EHR feature updates through continuous training.
