Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in pricing strategy, pricing analysis, or a similar quantitative role, with a strong preference for experience in a SaaS or technology company
  • Quantitative/analytical degree in a field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Data Science
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that have driven measurable business outcomes
  • Expertise in various pricing methodologies (e.g., value-based pricing, usage-based, tiered, freemium)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced Excel modeling, SQL, and experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate findings and influence diverse stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to navigate cross-functional leadership engagement

Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, analysis, and development of new pricing models, structures, and packaging strategies across the product portfolio
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer willingness-to-pay studies to identify pricing opportunities and threats
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with product roadmap, go-to-market initiatives, and financial targets
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to model the impact of pricing changes on key business metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV, gross margin, win rates, churn)
  • Lead the design of a comprehensive New Product Introduction (NPI) process, creating a shared playbook that ensures all critical teams are aligned and prepared for a smooth launch
  • Partner with product marketing and sales enablement to develop pricing collateral, training materials, and tools to support effective price communication and negotiation
  • Establish A/B testing frameworks for pricing experiments and analyze results to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement opportunities for price realization and discount optimization
  • Present findings, recommendations, and pricing performance to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Monitor industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor pricing to inform strategic adjustments and foster a data-driven culture around pricing
