Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, which is preferred but may be substituted with relevant experience, and a Master’s degree is also preferred. The role requires 6-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO environment, along with expert knowledge of the medical and pharmaceutical industry, terminology, and practices. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access, is necessary, as is intermediate to expert knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM. Candidates must be able to work independently or in a team setting, adjust to changing priorities, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines, and exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The Pricing & Proposals Analyst will generate, analyze, and manage accurate and timely client proposals, reading and analyzing RFPs and protocols to understand client needs. They will provide guidance and drive pricing based on RFP and protocol requirements, collaborating with team members to review Fee Schedules and determine the best pricing strategy. The Analyst will review proposals with final approvers, coordinate with the Project Management Team on change of scope requests, and work with Sales and Project Management on client requested Price Estimates. They will ensure all proposals adhere to gross margin guidelines, incorporate sponsor revisions, formulate and draft proposal revision documents, and work with Subject Matter Experts to update backend calculations and effort estimates. Additionally, the Analyst will strategize and update Redbook/List Pricing, mentor junior team members, ensure accuracy within documentation, and contribute to team efforts by exploring opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies.
