Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in pricing operations, price management, commercial excellence, or sales operations
  • Strong expertise in CPQ systems with proven application in business environments
  • Additional experience in software implementation and rollout projects is a plus
  • Very good understanding of quotation and pricing processes, with the ability to optimize and streamline workflows
  • Ideally, practical experience with SAP pricing and discount conditions
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, paired with a strong process orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and curious personality with a high level of commitment
  • Very good proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Leading the implementation and rollout of a new CPQ software from the business perspective
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for our CPQ software and related pricing processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives
  • Preparing and executing comprehensive user acceptance testing in close collaboration with IT to guarantee system functionality and usability
  • Mapping, maintaining, and optimizing quotation and pricing processes, including the refinement of the commercial policy
  • Designing, conducting, and continuously improving user training programs, as well as developing clear and effective training materials
  • Actively engaging and communicating with the CPQ user community and other project stakeholders to foster adoption, feedback, and continuous improvement
  • Contributing to further strategic pricing initiatives, such as EMEA price harmonization, to drive process consistency and commercial excellence
  • Maintaining accurate price master data and supporting price audits to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Collaborating closely with IT, Sales, Finance, and Product Management to ensure effective implementation, alignment, and execution of pricing strategies
