Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced knowledge of the company's portfolio, articulating proposals, and ensuring customers’ business and technical needs are met
  • Identify key risks to ensure customer's business and technical requirements are met, detailing key value points for the account team
  • Provide input to address key end-customer IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs
  • Translate functional design of a solution into technical design and architecture scalable for growth
  • Communicate how the solution value proposition addresses customer business needs
  • Track industry trends and emerging technologies (and competitor offerings/activities), leveraging with customer’s technical environment
  • Show customers how to migrate and/or integrate technologies in new or existing environments
  • Contribute to industry developments through content support, presentations, demos, booth support at conferences/events, and social media
  • Design and deliver solutions aligned to customer’s business requirements, leveraging industry and customer technical knowledge
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions, articulate value proposition, define differentiators, and draft high-level solution designs
  • Deliver optimal results balancing costs, scope, scale, and benefits
  • Participate in account business planning processes
  • Collaborate proactively with account team leadership to develop/communicate value propositions, negotiation points, and identify overlooked opportunities
  • Map right partner to opportunity, transfer knowledge to partners, and deliver effective results
  • Proactively build pipeline by identifying opportunities (enhancements, unmet needs, upselling, cross-selling)
  • Monitor account pipeline and nurture deals from opportunity to close
  • Actively participate in sales forecast meetings and provide feedback to accelerate sales lifecycle
  • Document ongoing work (activities, tasks) using tools/resources and share best practices with peers/partners
