Requirements

Collaboration with assigned practice(s) Lead Physicians in the dyad leadership model
Provides 24-hour accountability and day-to-day oversight/supervision for optimal operations, safety, business systems, and quality patient care
Ensures optimal patient access and customer satisfaction
Assists in setting the tone/atmosphere of the practice and creating a positive work environment
Contributes to vision and strategic planning for practice growth
Promotes Virtua mission, vision, practice goals, and philosophy; cascades communications to direct reports
Compliant with Federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

Oversees daily/monthly expenditures, staffing, and overtime hours
Ensures staff follows front-end policies/procedures (e.g., missing charges, claim edits, daily cash reconciliation, referral tracking, receivable/collection tasks)
Assists physician compliance with chart completion, charge entry, PAQs/inboxes
Identifies opportunities to increase patient volume/services while controlling expenses; creates and executes improvement plans within budget
Develops and maintains practice budgets in collaboration with Lead Physicians
Provides explanations to leadership on budget-to-actual variances and takes actions to mitigate negative variances
Prepares critical daily, weekly, and monthly reports; provides data as needed
Assists with achievement of goals/objectives for metrics and reimbursement
Monitors and maintains records of provider CME and PTO
Attends meetings/education sessions to evaluate and improve compliance
Contributes to development and implementation of policies/procedures governing practice/clinic operations and follows established policies
