Requirements

Over 15 years in Event Management & Strategy, with proven P&L responsibility and strong budget management skills
Demonstrated success in executing B2B exhibitions and events within the Indian exhibitions industry
Experience or knowledge of the Retail or Real Estate industries (desirable, though not mandatory)
People leadership skills for fostering collaboration and high performance in managing cross-functional teams
Experience working within a matrix organizational structure or familiarity with matrix management principles

Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of events in the portfolio, from planning and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis
Market Intelligence: Leverage research and industry relationships to identify growth opportunities and ensure sustainability of each show
Business Management: Handle effective resource allocation, financial oversight, and performance monitoring to meet business objectives
Networking & Account Management: Build and maintain strong industry connections and manage key accounts to drive event success and brand relevance
Brand Strategy: Develop strategies that resonate with visitors and exhibitors to ensure continued relevance and growth of events
Innovation: Proactively seek and launch new event opportunities to keep the portfolio dynamic and competitive
Budget Management: Align financial planning with strategic goals for the portfolio’s long-term success
Lead identification of new event opportunities and oversee deployment and delivery, encompassing strategy, financials, sales, marketing, operations, and people management
