Candidates should possess 5+ years of career experience in an operational, fast-paced role, ideally with a US-based company, and bonus points for experience in compliance, regulatory operations, permitting, or legal roles or experience working directly in the real estate or short-term rental industry. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, or Urban Planning is required.
The Policy & Permitting Coordinator will be responsible for preparing and submitting permit applications for short-term rental properties, maintaining compliance records, monitoring regulatory changes, developing and maintaining relationships with municipalities, drafting and reviewing documentation, identifying compliance risks, researching and interpreting regulations, supporting process improvement, and collaborating cross-functionally to assist with compliance.
