Requirements

  • Bachelors and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Science. MBA desirable
  • Certification in Project Management is desirable
  • Experience leading matrixed, global programs and project initiatives, preferably within the Procurement function
  • Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Category Management preferred
  • Process improvement background (PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, etc) preferred
  • Solid understanding of category management, strategic sourcing, and overall procurement functions
  • Robust project management skills and capabilities (Gantt charts, dashboards, key results, investment analyses, and baseline development)
  • Outstanding analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for structuring ideas clearly and concisely, particularly with senior management
  • Strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Consistent track record of timely project completions
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and collaborate across functions and borders
  • Solid financial understanding
  • Multi-tasking skills and planning for prioritizing personal workload
  • Ability to lead change
  • Ability to travel between 10-30% annually

Responsibilities

  • Define outcome structures and content, facilitating agreement on proposed solutions from functional, business unit, and site leadership
  • Lead multiple simultaneous projects with well-documented project management methodologies to achieve enterprise and functional objectives
  • Develop effective communication strategies and deliver executive-level presentations to propose key initiatives, provide implementation updates, and demonstrate value delivery within the organization
  • Perform analysis to identify value, develop arguments through financial and options analysis, and build implementation plans to ensure project success
  • Track confidentiality commitments and clearances for the project
  • Report on key targets, projects, pipeline, and AOP financial targets using standard tools and processes
  • Coordinate data inputs across the function to enable key reporting and insights
  • Use business partner inputs and knowledge of existing systems to develop standard reporting requirements and drive process improvements
  • Apply consistent project management approaches, identify and report roadblocks, and ensure projects are on schedule and achieve objectives
  • Track and monitor the timely completion of project targets within the portfolio, plan vs. actual, and report progress
  • Drive project governance, including regular PMO sessions and follow-ups
  • Lead overall project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Detect and facilitate issue resolution to address program risks
  • Maintain document repository and file structure, ensuring adherence to version control on key documents
  • Lead global, cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Coordinate with team members to identify and detail resource constraints
  • Influence key partners to achieve targets on time and within plan, developing relationships to complete assigned projects
  • Collaborate with Procurement Enablement on reporting cadences to achieve a single source of truth for the savings pipeline and inflation
