Requirements

  • Proficient in Go, Python, or other systems-level languages, with production experience in automation tool development
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native controllers
  • Familiar with GitOps tooling (e.g., FluxCD, ArgoCD) and policy-as-code frameworks (Kyverno, Open Policy Agent)
  • Comfortable designing RESTful APIs and writing clean, maintainable code in a collaborative environment
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across Kubernetes, virtualization, infrastructure layers, and networking automation
  • Preferred
  • Prior experience in hybrid-cloud or bare-metal infrastructure automation platforms
  • Familiarity with virtualization tooling (e.g., KubeVirt, vSphere, Harvester APIs)
  • Experience with network automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python, Perl)
  • Experience with VM orchestration solutions (e.g., OpenStack, VMware vSphere, Harvester, Proxmox)
  • Industry certifications such as Terraform Associate, CKAD, or relevant networking/cloud automation credentials

Responsibilities

  • Build internal APIs and SDKs that enable teams to interact with infrastructure in a seamless, cloud-like manner
  • Design and implement Kubernetes platform automation for improved scalability and workload management
  • Develop automation frameworks for managing VM platform orchestration and infrastructure components
  • Automate network provisioning and VM lifecycle management across hybrid infrastructure
  • Extend and customize infrastructure management platforms to support scalable, multi-tenant provisioning solutions
  • Leverage GitOps, policy-as-code, and automation tools to enforce infrastructure consistency and security
