Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent military or work experience. They should have or be able to obtain necessary security clearances. Required experience includes 5+ years with endpoint security applications, 5+ years in client-facing consulting, and extensive knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role also requires a high level of motivation, self-starter attitude, and the ability to travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
The Senior Resident Technologist Consultant is responsible for dedicated customer support, including implementation and ongoing operational support of the CrowdStrike platform and related technologies. This includes planning, installation, optimization, maintenance, and follow-on support. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with customer IT teams, utilizing software deployment technologies, leveraging APIs and scripting for deployment and configuration, and using CrowdStrike applications for vulnerability management, asset management, identity, and cloud security. The consultant will guide customers with incident management, assist with integration into third-party tools, act as a technical interface for customer concerns, and stay informed about new CrowdStrike technologies to aid customer adoption.
