Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with over 5 years of experience in IT deployments or customer-facing roles. Expertise in cloud platform technologies and relevant certifications are required, as well as proficiency in cloud security best practices, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
The Senior Platform Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for the planning, deployment, configuration, and operational support of the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and its modules, including Cloud Workload Protection, Cloud Security Posture Management, Application Security Posture Management, and SaaS Security Posture Management. This includes modifying scripts for deployment, troubleshooting customer issues, engineering software deployment technologies, developing scripts for sensor deployment, planning deployment status, collaborating with customer IT teams, mentoring junior consultants, conducting training sessions, assisting with vulnerability and asset management, supporting incident response teams, and facilitating relationships between product and engineering teams. The role may involve guiding customers on agent deployment to cloud services like ECS Fargate or Google Cloud Run, deploying Falcon Helm charts or Operators to Kubernetes clusters, and integrating Falcon CSPM with cloud accounts using scripting or APIs, with up to 25% travel.
