Requirements

  • Knowledge of EOS requirements, customer tolerances, and product specifications
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, including Flow IV, VI, 4, and 5, as well as mass production
  • Familiarity with WPO, BOP, BOD, BOE, BOT, APQP, PFD, PFMEA, PCP, MSA, PPAP, special characteristics, and safety product requirements
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Skills in process validation, risk detection, and elimination using Prevent and Assure activities
  • Capability to measure, construct, and validate first piece samples according to prints
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in updating mechanical and electrical prints and documentation
  • Experience with record matrix requirements and process handoffs (e.g., Flow 4 to Flow 5 during SOP)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure complete release of manufacturing process, including tooling, based on EOS and customer requirements for effective plant validation
  • Lead measurement and construction of the first piece by board with multidisciplinary team on duplicated boards according to prints and product requirements
  • Ensure duplicated tooling release based on customer tolerances (Flow IV & VI, Flow 4 & 5 / Mass production)
  • Ensure tooling validation for all manufacturing processes (Kit Lines pos pre Check list)
  • Ensure compliance to WPO, BOP, BOD, BOE, and BOT
  • Ensure complete validation of the proper design of duplicated boards and processes
  • Ensure all inspections of early phases comply with product prints and requirements
  • Ensure proper validation of duplicated board release at manufacturing Kits, Lines, Cells, and subassembly processes according to master board requirements
  • Lead and ensure participation of multidisciplinary team during first piece sample construction
  • Ensure validation of implementation of WPO, BOP, BOE, and BOT with multidisciplinary team participation
  • Ensure proper update of mechanical and electrical prints
  • Ensure duplicated board process meets applicable print, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure proper execution of outputs for duplicated board process (APQP, PFD, PFMEA, PCP, MSA, PPAP, special characteristics, safety requirements)
  • Ensure proper information release and documentation according to customer and EOS requirements
  • Compile all information of release process according to record matrix requirements
  • Ensure process is capable of consistently delivering high quality outputs
  • Detect and eliminate process risks during master board release process using Prevent and Assure activities
  • Robust follow-up on open items for process solving
  • Ensure correct handoff from Flow 4 to Flow 5 during SOP
