Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a field associated with the job's necessary skills/competencies and 7 years supervisory/management experience, or at least 10 years related supervisory/management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for a Plant within the regional fleet, potentially including multiple sites and Mine sites
- Provide management and direction of safety, environmental and regulatory compliance
- Oversee operation, maintenance, technical and engineering support
- Handle long and short range planning, O&M Resource Plan, Capital Resource Plan
- Manage project management/contractor management, staffing, employee/team development, employee/labor relations, communication, and community relations as well as site/equipment demolition
- Ensure generation and/or mining requirements/goals are efficiently and reliably met
- Responsible for compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage Capital and O&M budgets to meet financial objectives
- Collaborate with applicable internal and external business partners
- Effectively administer company policies, labor agreements, and work rules
- Provide leadership and direction in Labor Agreement administration, including the grievance process and contract negotiations
- Represent the company in legal or community affairs to support and protect company interests and ensure good relations with local governments, school districts, civic groups, law enforcement agencies, and the media
- Select, develop, and manage a diverse workforce
