Requirements

Leadership in safety, including delivering company people safety goals (behaviors) and implementing process safety management (conditions) for world-class safety performance
Experience in operation management to setup, operate, improve, and sustain world-class facilities
Ability to formulate and administer operations policies, develop long-range goals and objectives, and monitor progress
Expertise in continuous improvement activities to achieve quality, cost, and delivery objectives
Knowledge of production activities, budgetary management, productivity improvement, and ensuring customer quality standards and delivery schedules
Capability to formulate processes for management systems (e.g., ISO9001) and lead maintenance of certifications and quality assurance systems
Coordination skills with plant project engineering and maintenance engineering for reliable operations, cost reduction, and maintenance excellence
Facilitation of team decisions on improving/simplifying processes, creating formal management systems with RACI charts
Proficiency in risk evaluation, decision-making, and taking calculated risks for business decisions
Experience managing quality requirements (e.g., for e-Ton) and implementing regional best practices
Knowledge of improving Conducts of Operations and implementing Operation Discipline programs

Responsibilities

Accountable for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of AP KIG’s assets and interfacing with business areas for optimum cost and profitable operation
Interface with Maintenance team, KIG team, Commercial team, Customer, AP EH&S, Operations Excellence, Technical Solutions team, HR, and other functional areas for flawless operation and regulatory compliance
Directly manage and coordinate all activities associated with AP KIG’s facilities
Develop and maintain a safe and integrity-rich work environment in compliance with government requirements and company standards/values
Maintain Operational and Maintenance programs within budget
Drive continuous improvement for Operational Excellence in Safety, People, Service, Quality, Reliability, and Cost
Support M&A and business development
Formulate and adhere to annual operations budget, and conform to established goals and objectives
Lead the organization to world-class performance levels
Direct production activities for maximum effectiveness, quality products within budget, and productivity improvements
Ensure products meet/exceed customer quality standards and delivery schedules
Coordinate with engineering efforts to ensure facilities/equipment are designed, built, and maintained reliably, with strategies to reduce costs and pursue maintenance excellence
