Curai Health offers convenient, easy-to-use virtual primary care, partnering with insurers and health systems to enhance patient engagement, improve health outcomes, and reduce costs. Our company is remote-first, with our corporate office located in San Francisco. We are seeking US Physicians fully licensed to practice in the United States and holding the required state licenses.

Clinical Operations at Curai

Our clinical team utilizes AI-empowered electronic records to provide urgent and primary care. We are currently looking for Family Practice Physicians comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients. Curai Health operates 24/7, and we seek flexible clinicians to meet our patients' needs.

Schedule:

• Day Shifts: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST
• Work Week: Four 9-hour shifts per week.
• Weekend Rotation: Work one weekend per month.
• Administrative Time: 4 hours per week.

What You'll Do

A typical day as a Curai Physician involves:

• Seeing acute/urgent care patients via our live text-based chat clinic, which may also include straightforward chronic care cases requiring prescription refills.
• 90% Clinical / 10% Administrative: Administrative time is allocated for clinical meetings, providing feedback on EHR/automation products, and participating in clinical operations quality improvement projects.
• Accurately diagnosing patients by taking detailed patient histories and providing evidence-based treatment recommendations.
• Writing efficient and clear encounter visit notes that demonstrate strong medical decision-making skills, differential diagnoses, and well-written care plans.
• Closing all patient notes optimally by the end of the encounter or shift.
• Collaborating with AI/ML within the EHR to enhance the machine's clinical decision support capabilities.
• Providing feedback to AI/ML and product teams on features that improve provider efficiency and accuracy.
• Staying updated on EHR feature updates through continuous training and platform engagement.

What You'll Need

• Board Certification: Physician in Family Medicine. (Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) are not being considered for this role.)
• Experience: Prior chat-based telemedicine experience.
• Licenses: Active licenses in CA, TX, and FL (must have 2 of these 3). Additional state licenses are a plus, ideally IN, MI, MS, GA, TN, and OK.
• Professional Record: A clear medical history with no board actions or complaints.
• Clinical Practice: 5+ years of clinical practice, with significant experience or engagement in primary care and pediatrics.
• Digital Skills: Digital savviness, excellent typing skills, strong grammatical construction, and excellent command of the English language.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills to ensure a meaningful and professional patient experience.
• Language: Proficiency in English. Spanish fluency is a significant added advantage.
