Responsibilities

Client Interaction

• Provide regular report status updates to the client.
• Evaluate the quality of physician reports against client and jurisdictional standards.
• Clarify ambiguous report questions with clients.
• Distribute final reports to clients according to their specific requirements.
• Receive, coordinate, and execute clarification and addendum requests from clients.
• Participate in phone calls or meetings with clients regarding report questions.
• Follow up with clients for any missing information.

Physician Interaction

• Work directly with physicians to answer client questions and provide clinical rationale.
• Conduct regular follow-up with physicians or their office staff to ensure timely report delivery.
• Compose and provide feedback to physicians regarding report quality.
• Compose and provide requests for clarifications to physicians.
• Obtain physician approval and signature for final reports.

Report Analysis

• Review physician reports for data accuracy (spelling, grammar, punctuation).
• Ensure that all state requirements for reporting are met.
• Ensure report format adheres to each client's specific requirements.
• Meet client special handling instructions for report completion and delivery.

Additional Duties

• Provide oversight to team members (potentially).
• Continuously improve processes to enhance turnaround time, peer-to-peer success rates, and reduce returned reports.
