Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the applicant’s state of residence
PTCB/ExCPT Certification
Passionate about helping people
Ability to work closely with the Customer Support team to ensure patient success
Proven team player with the ability to solve problems independently
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Reliable and a self-starter

Responsibilities

Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal patient prescriptions in the pharmacy software
Verify patient insurance coverage utilizing phone or online resources
Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes and prescription drug names
Communicate with prescriber offices and insurance companies, coordinating with partner pharmacies to ensure best-in-class patient care
Document activities appropriately in process notes using the company's operating system
Navigate between multiple systems throughout the workday, including operational software and vendor portals
Report to management and technical support, addressing company issues
Ensure consistent coverage for all technicians, maintain work schedules, and coordinate time off for staff
Assist with performance evaluations and training repository documentation
Participate in the recruitment process and assist with the training and supervision of new pharmacy technicians
Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems necessary
