Recent pharmacy school graduate (within 120 days of graduation)
Didactic learning from pharmacy school and pharmacy practice experience
Ability to work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader
Readiness to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
Compliance with state regulations (e.g., for taking telephonic prescriptions or clarifying prescriptions)

Responsibilities

Apply pharmacy school learning to real-world practice under supervision
Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation
Assist pharmacy team in workflow procedures (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations/services, counseling (when appropriate under supervision), fielding medical questions, and soliciting medical history
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and call to clarify or facilitate changes, where allowed by state regulation
Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to team members and share best practices
Complete basic inventory activities (e.g., putting away deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories) as permitted by law and directed
Deepen understanding of patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review (DUR), corresponding responsibility, and red flag detection
Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and effective communication in all customer/colleague interactions
Support management, oversight, and operations of the pharmacy as tenure and readiness increase
Contribute to a high-performing, safe, and inclusive team culture
