Readiness to complete a comprehensive training roadmap
Compliance with state regulations for tasks like taking telephonic prescriptions and calling prescribers
Ability to work part-time in a retail pharmacy environment

Responsibilities

Apply pharmacy school learning to real-world practice under supervision
Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
Deepen understanding of patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, DUR, corresponding responsibility, and red flag detection
Assist pharmacy team in smooth operations, prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and pharmacy workflow at workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off)
Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and compassionate service in patient interactions; offer immunizations and services
Counsel patients, field medical questions, solicit medical history under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify or facilitate changes where allowed
Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to team members and share best practices
Perform basic inventory activities (put away deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories) as permitted and directed
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, high-performing team culture
