Readiness to complete a comprehensive training roadmap under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader
Compliance with state regulations for tasks like taking telephonic prescriptions and calling prescribers

Responsibilities

Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation to support Pharmacists and Technicians in managing and improving patient health
Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures at workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy, genuine care, creating personalized moments, offering immunizations/services, and solving/escalating patient problems
Offer counseling, field medical questions, and solicit patient medical history under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and call prescribers to clarify prescriptions or facilitate changes, where allowed by state regulation
Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to pharmacy team members and share best practices
Complete basic inventory activities (e.g., putting away deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stock, waiting bin inventories) as permitted by law and directed by leadership
Assist pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt/safe/accurate prescription filling, and caring service exceeding patient expectations
Demonstrate patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review (DUR), corresponding responsibility, and red flag detection
Operate as part of the pharmacy team through SOPs, best practices, effective communication, empathy, and contributing to a safe/inclusive culture
