Candidates should possess a current pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and be scheduled to graduate within the next 120 days. They must be able to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school and pharmacy practice into real-world practice, demonstrating an understanding of patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review (DUR), and pharmacy professional standards.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, the individual will assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, patient prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patient expectations are exceeded through caring service. They will also complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, applying knowledge of store, district, and regional operations, and contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and genuine care. Furthermore, the intern will follow all company SOPs at each workstation, adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures, and support the management, oversight, and operations within the pharmacy, including contributing to the management and improvement of patient health.
