Requirements

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles, including bending spine at waist
Visual acuity: close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequently, and/or negligible force constantly to move objects
Ability to complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Ability to complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines

Responsibilities

Work under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment
Contribute to patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)
Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
Lead with heart: display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes
Align others around the purpose to bring heart to every moment of health and gain support and commitment
Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Once state regulations are met, strive to provide patient immunizations
