Candidates must be a PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training at CVS Health, possess or be in the process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician license as required by state BOP, and have 0-3 years of relevant work experience. Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills are required.
As a Pharmacy Intern, the role involves keeping customers and patients healthy through patient care program adoption and management, leading with heart by displaying empathy and compassion, supporting the Pharmacy manager in motivating and developing colleagues, identifying business opportunities and implementing solutions, adapting to change, seeking growth opportunities, and facilitating a team culture that promotes caring and pride. The intern will also contribute to patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).
