Requirements

Candidates should currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is desired, and candidates should be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Clinical Strategy Intern will perform duties in their field of study or profession, assisting with varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. They will perform computations, work on semi-routine assignments, and act as an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation. The intern will interpret area/department policy and methods for completing assignments, working within defined parameters and under minimal direction, following standard policies and practices with some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and independent discretion. They may also be required to travel occasionally to Humana’s offices for training or meetings.
