The Pharmacy Experience Associate should possess a strong understanding of patient access and affordability challenges, including the complexities of the pharmacy and prescription process. They must be able to work efficiently with Healthcare Professionals and pharmacies, assess training needs, and escalate complex cases. The role requires clear and succinct communication skills and the ability to work with a sense of urgency. A background in supporting patient access and affordability is essential.
The Pharmacy Experience Associate will support patient access and affordability challenges by interacting with internal and external stakeholders. They will identify and act on delayed prescriptions using data insights, build relationships with specialty pharmacies, and educate pharmacists on patient programs. The associate will assist Healthcare Professionals with prescription submissions, serve as a Network Specialty Pharmacy partner, and collaborate with sales teams. They will also conduct needs assessments, provide education on patient assistance programs, coordinate cases with patient support services, and attend meetings to provide feedback on market access. Additionally, they will inform National Account Directors about patient access and collaborate on training activities for network pharmacies, all while maintaining ethical obligations and compliance with laws and regulations.
