Responsibilities

  • Assists with routine technical support tasks for the RX Equipment area under general supervision and communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams
  • Collects feedback from the warehouse department to ensure the technical support function is responsive to business needs
  • Documents the receipt of control drugs and cooler drugs and verifies the number of cartons and pallets in each delivery
  • Assists pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with equipment operations; coordinates pharmacy deliveries and orders to ensure timely service
  • Inspects the final RX product for appropriateness and uniformity and verifies product labels for accuracy to ensure ready for delivery
  • Maintains specialized pharmacy equipment, such as automated dispensing devices and unit dosing machines
  • Collects information on RX trends and analyzes RX order frequency in order to anticipate consumer demand
  • Monitors pharmacy equipment and fill dispensing units and calibrates to ensure maximum functionality
  • Operates automated RX equipment to assist pharmacists with compounding, repackaging, and cart filling
