Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or 1-4 years of experience in pharmacy contracting, pharmacy administrative support, or marketing/communications for pharmacy or payer networks
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Previous account management, project management, or related experience

Responsibilities

Ensure all published materials support the contracting process, including pharmacy provider manuals for Medicare and Medicaid, policy documents, pharmacy communications, regulatory contract compliance, and other communications
Perform analysis regarding pharmacy claims and purchasing data to identify future contracting opportunities
Draft communications for stakeholder review and approval
Coordinate with various departments to draft, approve, and publish communications
Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
Follow established guidelines/procedures
