Responsibilities

Provide warmth, friendliness, and confidence to customers discussing personal health issues
Quickly resolve customer problems and guide them to the right products
Accurately assemble and process prescriptions
Drive awareness of extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews)
Support the Pharmacist with delivery and record keeping of patient services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes)
Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures
Collect prescriptions from doctor's surgeries on behalf of customers and bring them to the store
Complete accredited training to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then train as a Dispensing Assistant
